Gabby Concepcion is raring to do the tv remake of his hit movie, "P.S. I love you" on TV5 which he did before with his Ex-wife Sharon Cuneta. He says hell have a new role in the show which was not included in the movie. This is for a the new twists that it'll be having. He feels bad that Sharon wont be in the show because shes with ABS-CBN.

Manny Pacquiao has a new endorsement—the Technomarine watch. After a few months of negotiation with the Philippine distributor of Technomarine, Raffy Florencio, Pacquiao signed up to design the watch to be named after him. The Pacquiao Technomarine giant billboard will be up first week of September. Asked if this deal was the “mother of all deals,” Florencio had a deadpan expression—apparently to say that, not really. He found it reasonable.
It should be good to see how the Pacquiao watch will deliver the knockout sales.

Metrobank has denied any wrongdoing in its transactions with oil importer Zhenron Corp. a former corporate client, which had accused the bank of unsound practices that caused the company to lose over P60 million. Metrobank said the complaint Zhenron filed had no basis in fact or law. The bank was reacting to an earlier report in the Inquirer on a complaint lodged by Zhenron, which filed administrative charges against Metrobank with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and a criminal complaint in the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.

Reading Log: PAL plane with busted tire lands safely in Los Angeles
A Philippine Airlines flight carrying 418 passengers made an emergency landing at the Los Angeles International Airport Friday (Saturday in Manila) due to a busted tire. The pilots of the B747-400 aircraft, who routinely fly direct from Manila, requested for an emergency landing from the air traffic control. It was given the green light to land after it was determined that only one of the 16 tires of the B747-400 was busted and although a bit shaken, all passengers and crew are safe.
